Limitation of Standard model

Due to some drawbacks, standard model can not consider as the complete theory in particle physics, rather it is a self consistent theory.

It can not explain some phenomena completely and for that reason it is not the complete theory of fundamental interaction.

Gravitational force one of the fundamental interaction in universe. Standard model is not concerned with gravitational force, though it successfully explain other fundamental interaction such as strong force, weak force and electromagnetic force.

Standard model does not explain baryon asymmetry

What is Standard Model in Particle physics

In particle physics, standard model is a theory which is connected with making a relationship among electromagnetic force, strong force and weak force in universe as well as make a classification of subatomic particles in universe.

Out of four fundamental interaction in universe, number three is concerned in standard model. Only Gravitational force is excluded from standard model.

Standard model is finalized upon 1970 when existence of quark is experimentally conformed.
